A Tribute to Dialysis Technicians: Your Impact Matters

Congratulations to dialysis technicians across the nation! Your dedication, compassion, and unwavering commitment to patient care make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals living with end-stage renal disease. Through early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays, you continue to show up with skill, professionalism, and heart.

You are more than technicians. You are essential members of the healthcare team—providing critical care, recognizing changes in patients’ conditions, supporting treatment outcomes, and offering reassurance when it matters most. The work you do is vital, your contributions are valued, and the impact you make deserves to be celebrated.

As we celebrate National Dialysis Technician Recognition Week, I encourage you to take pride in your work, recognize the difference you make, and continue investing in yourself and your profession. Keep learning, sharing your knowledge, supporting your colleagues, and finding new ways to strengthen the care you provide. When we grow together, we move our entire profession forward.

And that is what makes our NANT community so important. We have so much to learn from one another, and opportunities to connect, share experiences, and grow professionally help remind us that we are part of something bigger than our individual units. Let this week be a reminder that your work matters every day of the year—and that your voice, experience, and participation have a place in shaping the future of dialysis.

As we look ahead to DTX44, March 16–19, 2027, in Las Vegas, I hope you will join us for another opportunity to learn, connect with fellow technicians, celebrate our profession, and bring new ideas back to your teams and patients. Whether you have attended before or are considering joining us for the first time, there is a place for you in this community, and I look forward to seeing our profession continue to grow together.

Thank you for all you do for your patients, your colleagues, and the dialysis community. Keep shining, keep striving, and keep empowering dialysis excellence. The work you do matters, and the future of our profession is stronger when we move forward together. 💙👏🏽✈️
