Happy Dialysis Technician Week! 💙 In celebration of Dialysis Technician Week, I wanted to share a few photos and highlights from my experience attending the BONENT Seminar on August 23 in Newark, New Jersey. What an incredible and informative experience! The seminar provided valuable insight into topics that directly impact our profession, our patients, and the future of dialysis care. Some of the important topics discussed included great tips:

Beyond the educational sessions, one of the most rewarding parts of this experience was the opportunity to connect with fellow dialysis technicians, exchange ideas, and learn from individuals who share the same passion for patient care.
It was also a wonderful opportunity to meet and connect with members of the BONENT leadership team, including President R.J. Picciano, Kasim Naqvi, and Charles Torres, who continues to hold in-person chapter meetings in Brooklyn.
Experiences like these remind us that being a dialysis technician is so much more than performing a job. It is about compassion, dedication, lifelong learning, and making a difference in the lives of patients who depend on us every single day.
As technicians, we are often the familiar faces, the reassuring voices, and the helping hands that our patients count on throughout their dialysis journey. The work we do matters, and so does our continued growth as healthcare professionals.
To all my fellow dialysis technicians: Never stop learning, never stop growing, and never underestimate the impact you make. Be proud of the profession you represent and the difference you make in someone’s life.
Happy Dialysis Technician Week!
Let’s continue to Explore, Encourage, Elevate, Engage, and Enrich!
Together, we can continue raising the standard of dialysis care, supporting one another, and inspiring the next generation of dialysis professionals. 💙
